  • Remember, board members must protect the Association from liability. Do this to reduce the risk:
  • Create forms that owners and/tenants sign, spelling out the Do’s and Don’t’s.
  • For rentals, create a document authorizing the board to act as the agent of the landlord. If the landlord is unwilling to act on issues, the Board can  take necessary actions. Landlord must foot the bill, regardless of the amount! That’ll get their attention!!
